When the region was later under the influence of the Babylonians, the Old Testament mentions that these kingdoms aided them in the 5. BC sack of Jerusalem. They passed through the control of several distant empires, including the Akkadian Empire (2. BC), Ancient Egypt (1. BC), the Hittite Empire (1. BC), the Middle Assyrian Empire (1. There are numerous studies that cite the psychological connection between poor body image and dieting, and some studies are being published that detail the physical effects of dieting. Over 1. 8% of girls and 8% of boys had gone without food for 2. Of the girls, 1. 1. Adolescent girls most often diet to improve their appearance, and although this behavior is widespread, teenagers continue to be more overweight than ever before. Eating disorders are largely predicted by higher rates of early dieting. Dieting encourages a shift from a reliance on physiological reasons for eating (feelings of hunger) to psychological control over eating behaviors (a person’s feeling that he or she shouldn’t eat so much, for example). Lowered body satisfaction, appearance satisfaction, and pressure to be thin all increase with an increase in binge eating. Differences in the incidence of eating disorders between sexes were largely accounted for by the high rates of early dieting in the female subjects. This superb report connects the dots between girls’ psychological health, their behaviors, and media influences. You’ll find many references to those findings below. When women and girls feel bad about their bodies, they often feel bad about themselves. This outcome is what the field of eating- disorders treatment is trying to capture when pointing out the seriousness of poor body image. Yet weight- loss products focus on instilling feelings of body hatred in consumers. See the section on weight- loss marketing for detailed facts. The thin ideal is unachievable for most women and is likely to lead to feelings of self- devaluation, dysphoria (depression), and helplessness. In early adolescence, girls who had a more objectified relationship with their bodies were more likely to experience depression and had lower self- esteem. Young women exposed to images of idealized models indicated more eating- disorder symptoms than women in the control group, as well as more negative mood states and lower self- esteem. Just at the time when girls begin to develop their identities, they are more likely to suffer losses in self- esteem. In the eighth grade, girls who objectify their bodies more have much lower self- esteem. For this reason, diminishing self- esteem arising in early adolescence may make girls particularly vulnerable to cultural messages that promise them popularity, effectiveness, and social acceptance through the right “sexy” look. On the other hand, the drop in self- esteem may be a result of how responsive they are to these cultural messages. The researchers found that the extent to which girls viewed their bodies as objects and were concerned about their bodies’ appearance predicted poorer motor performance on the softball throw. Surprisingly, there is little longitudinal research addressing this issue. Low levels of self- esteem significantly predicted adolescent reports of problem eating, suicidal ideation, and multiple health- compromising behaviors. However, even after perfectly executed surgeries some people develop post- surgical symptoms. These symptoms may last for many months – or even years. Such symptoms may include: Abdominal bloating and discomfort after eating. Pain, usually in the right upper part of the abdomen. Abdominal discomfort or dull pain from excess bowel gas. Nausea/vomiting. Belching. Diarrhea. Constipation. Heartburn. Jaundice. Intolerance for fatty foods, and more. There are many potential reasons for pain after cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal). The gallbladder is surrounded by a wide variety of nerves. These nerves regulate not only the gallbladder, but also the duodenum, pancreas, stomach, and even the heart. The accidental cutting of these nerves can cause pain, and influence the normal work of these organs. Another frequent problem after surgery is that it disrupts the function of the sphincter of Oddi, the muscle valve between the bile duct, pancreatic duct, and duodenum. The valve becomes spasmodic; the bile cannot be properly eliminated and it collects in the bile duct and the pancreatic duct. The back- up of bile increases the pressure inside of the ducts, causes pain, and can give rise to severe inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis) or bile ducts. Sphincter of Oddi dysfunctioncan be aggravated by using pain- killers such as Morphine and Vicodine, which in and of themselves can cause the sphincter to spasm. The removal of gallbladder stones does not remove the main reason these stones developed in the first place. The liver is an alkaline gland, which means that normal liver bile is alkaline. Liver bile ranges from 7. H. When the acid – alkaline balance of the body becomes acidic, the bile also becomes acidic. This acidity may cause a change in bile biochemistry and subsequently cause the development of gallbladder stones. A significant increase in bile acids after gallstone removal, is very irritating to the lining of the intestines. How does bioidentical progesterone help with PMS? They erode and irritate the lining of the intestines and cause bile reflux, or the back flow of bile. Bile reflux causes upset stomach, gastritis (inflamed stomach lining), pain, spasms, nausea and vomiting, severe heartburn, ulcers in the duodenum and/or stomach, and sphincter of Oddi dysfunction. Antibiotic use after gallstone removal surgery may cause Candida- yeast overgrowth, which can cause diarrhea, constipation, or sluggish bowel. Some patients have experienced a new sensitivity to foods after gallbladder removal surgery. They’ve found that many foods they could eat before the surgery were no longer tolerable, especially milk (lactose intolerance), fatty foods, or oily foods. Eating these foods after gallbladder removal can cause gas, flatulence, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome and malabsorption syndrome. These conditions can last for years, and conventional medicine offers limited treatment options. Cyclic ketogenic diet - Wikipedia. A cyclic ketogenic diet (or carb- cycling) is a low- carbohydrate diet with intermittent periods of high or moderate carbohydrate consumption. This is a form of the general ketogenic diet that is used as a way to maximize fat loss while maintaining the ability to perform high- intensity exercise. A ketogenic diet limits the number of grams of carbohydrate the dieter may eat, which may be anywhere between 0 and 5. The remainder of the caloric intake must come primarily from fat sources, as well as protein sources, in order to maintain ketosis. Some people report feeling irritable, out of sorts, and unable to make decisions. For most people these feelings disappear after the adaptation period, however, and are replaced with feelings of calm and balance, and more consistent energy. During a hypocaloric ketogenic diet, the carb cravings may combine with hunger pangs, making matters worse. It offers a cyclical . During this phase, the diet consists mostly of complex carbohydrates, with limited fat, sucrose and fructose. Since the glycogen stores in the liver and muscles are depleted, these carbohydrates go straight to refilling them, instead of being added to the body's fat stores. For this reason, the amount of calories consumed during a refeed can be far above an individual's usual dietary intake. How To Burn Stored Body Fat - - A Ketosis Primer“So, how do you tell your body to start burning stored body fat?” my friend and fellow mother asked.“Cut the carbs,” answered another mom. Isn’t that bad for you?”The short answer? No. I talk to a lot of people who want to lose weight. They try all sorts of things — exercise, calorie restriction, you name it. Sometimes, they lose the weight. Inevitably, they gain it back. That’s because what they’re doing is going on a diet — a temporary fix at best. How Does Fat Burn In Our Body OurselvesWhat they need is a lifestyle change, a perspective shift, a new paradigm. Of course, you all know the paradigm I espouse — a conversion to eating real, traditional foods. Yet even a conversion to eating real food won’t necessarily help the pounds melt away. If you’re still eating 2. If your body is regularly storing body fat (you gain a little bit of weight each year), then something is wrong with how your body metabolizes food. Let me introduce you to a new concept: the body fat setpoint. You lose weight when you eat fewer calories than you need for. If you want to learn what happens to your body when you eat a food or use a particular substance, read these insightful health. The body fat setpoint is the mass of body fat that your body attempts to defend against changes in either direction. This is why if you exercise more, you eat more. It’s also why if you restrict calories, your metabolism slows down to compensate. Why should you care about the body fat setpoint? From Stephan at Whole Health Source: We care because this has some very important implications for human obesity. With such a powerful system in place to keep body fat mass in a narrow range, a major departure from that range implies that the system isn’t functioning correctly. Does Thinking Really Hard Burn More Calories? Unlike physical exercise, mental workouts probably do not demand significantly more energy than usual. How would you like to magically burn off about 40 calories in the next 15 minutes, without even breaking a sweat? Okay, here's what you do: Go into the. Cardio workouts Does morning cardio burn fat faster? We debate the merits of this popular fat loss legend. Different weight loss methods will lead. Censor Questions & Answers: We boiled down hundreds of user comments about Censor into this helpful FAQ. What are the side effects of Censor? Some potential Censor. What I’ve learned as a Freemason and why I left the order; A Beginner's Guide to Sigil Craft; Bloodline of the Gods; How Our Ancestors Used. In other words, obesity has to result from a defect in the system that regulates body fat, because a properly functioning system would not have allowed that degree of fat gain in the first place. So yes, we are gaining weight because we eat too many calories relative to energy expended. But why are we eating too many calories? Because the system that should be defending a low fat mass is now defending a high fat mass. Therefore, the solution is not simply to restrict calories, or burn more calories through exercise, but to try to “reset” the system that decides what fat mass to defend. Restricting calories isn’t necessarily a good solution because the body will attempt to defend its setpoint, whether high or low, by increasing hunger and decreasing its metabolic rate. That’s why low- calorie diets, and most diets in general, typically fail in the long term. It’s miserable to fight hunger every day. So, how do you “reset” the system? How do you train your body to start burning stored body fat? One word: ketosis. Ketosis is the state that your body enters into when it starts converting stored fat into ketones to use as fuel for your cells. If you eat plenty of carbohydrates, you will never enter into ketosis. Instead, your body will simply use all that glucose as a fuel. Is Ketosis Dangerous? Ketosis has earned a bad name, though. For one thing, your body enters a ketogenic state when it starts starving itself. But if you’re eating plenty of calories and sticking to a nutrient- dense diet, you need not fear starvation. Ketogenesis doesn’t destroy muscle tissue, but is rather the process by which stored fat is turned into ketones — a perfectly usable energy source for every major body system. Others object to ketosis because it gets confused with ketoacidosis, a dangerous state in which the body not only becomes ketogenic, but also causes the blood to become too acidic. If you’re still getting your limited carbohydrates from vegetables and fruits, you need not fear ketoacidosis. From Mark’s Daily Apple: Finally, ketogenic diets, which are generally lumped together by critics, have gotten a lot of bad press. While experts have generally recognized their effectiveness for weight loss, very low carb diets that result in ketosis (like the Atkins) have been criticized on health grounds. The problem with these criticisms? They’re based on diets that allow for 2. While I believe we are not meant to run primarily on carbohydrate energy, I do believe we depend on the nutrients offered by low carb vegetables and even some low glycemic fruits. A diet of 2. 0 carbohydrate grams simply can’t allow for the plentiful intake of nutrient- rich vegetables. When your carb intake is low enough, say 5. Over time, this process becomes efficient as the body “unfolds” in its genetic expression. Yet this carb intake is high enough that you can freely include copious amounts of nutrient- (including potassium) rich vegetables to offer the body sufficient nutrition, fiber, and alkalizing minerals. In other words, when you cut your carbohydrate intake to 5. Once you’re at your desired weight and you don’t hope to lose anymore body fat, then sticking to anywhere between 1. The glory of thinking this way is that you absolutely never have to count calories! In fact, you probably don’t even have to count grams of carbohydrates. Just avoid grains, sugars, and sweet fruits. If you start craving those foods, eat more saturated fat from traditional sources like ghee, coconut oil, tallow, and lard. I call this going Paleo- ish. It’s not for the Paleo purist, but it helps me keep my sanity! When you’re in your “maintenance” mode, what you’ll discover is that you’re eating a diet much more in line with traditional cultures around the world — a diet devoid of artificial and processed foods, a diet full of healthy fats from quality sources, a diet rich in fermented and living foods, a diet absent sugar, you get the picture. The exact quantities of meats, vegetables, and fats you eat can vary greatly depending on your cravings and preferences, but one thing will be sure: you won’t ever want to go back to how you ate before.(photo by foshydog).
The Bodybuilding Diet: How I fixed my health, and became The Hulk. In early 2. 01. 2 I started following a strict bodybuilding diet, which involves eating seven times a day, and obsessively measuring out every meal to meet a predetermined ratio of fat, protein, and carbohydrates. To commit to this food plan, I usually have to pack my meals in tupperware and bring them with me to parties and other social outings. This means I’m often caught scarfing chicken between conversations, and pulling out my food scale at awkward places. Although I try to be discreet, I usually end up having to explain my obsessive behavior to those around me. The question I get asked most often is “Why are you doing this?”. My standard response used to be “To look like Arnold“, but I’ve been asked this question enough times where I’ve since given it some serious thought. It first started with a health checkup in early 2. Since I have a habit of working out regularly, and generally stay away from junk food, I was surprised when my doctor told me I had high cholesterol. My total cholesterol was at 2. LDL cholesterol was at 1. People don’t normally get heart attacks until they’re 6. January, 2. 01. 1Around the time when I got my cholesterol checked. I was in good shape, and worked out 3- 5 times a week. Now this is the part where I’m supposed to tell you I went home and immediately started my bodybuilding diet. But like most people who are aware of a health problem, I made no effort to change my habits. As of 2009, nandrolone was used clinically, but increasingly rarely, for people in catabolic states who had major burns, cancer, and AIDS, and an. Find out what Terry Banawich thinks the 30 lies of bodybuilding are! That summer, I even traveled Europe for 5 months and ate all sorts of cochinillo, schweinshaxe, and foi gras, cholesterol be damned. By the end of the trip, I still managed to lose 1. I guess that’s what happens when you spend your days lounging in Parsian parks nibbling on macaroons instead of pumping iron. Looks like my ancestors gypped me on the cholesterol gene, but gave me some kind of freakish metabolism instead. By the time I got back to the U. S., I was ready to get back in shape, so I did what I always do when I’m trying to bulk up – I started lifting weights 5 times a week, and eating a gratuitous amount of food in order to gain as much muscle as possible. This method sounds terrible to me now, but in college it worked wonders. I could devour all sorts of cookies, steaks, and hamburgers, and still build muscle while remaining lean. But in my older age, it was clear that my method wasn’t working as well as it used to. Although I was building muscle, I was also starting to develop a gut. Yup, this was officially my first sign of aging. Here’s me in Germany, at 1. March, 2. 01. 2Before I started the bodybuilding diet, I bulked back up to around 2. I wanted. So I turned to the internet for advice. Anyone who has ever tried searching for diet tips online will probably agree with me that it’s about as fun as filing your taxes. You have to trudge through hundreds of contradictory nutritional advice (milk is bad for you, milk is the perfect drink, avoid egg yolks, egg yolks are the best part), dodge gimmicky supplement ads (“Effortless six- pack abs in 2 weeks, or your money back!”), and decode vague health information like “Detox your body with a cabbage cleansing to restore your inner spiritual and emotional balance”. Huh? I wasn’t looking for a flash diet or a quick fix. I wanted to do it the hard way. The way that works. It turns out all the more credible sounding articles were bodybuilding related. Unlike articles marketed towards yoga girls and beach body types, bodybuilding articles tend to dive deeper into the biochemistry of food, and focus on the overall diet, rather than focusing on a specific “healthy food” . I’m still waiting for the day a frozen yogurt cleanse becomes fashionable, triggering a new generation of yoga girls with uncontrollable gas. The more I read about bodybuilding, the more there was to learn. I soon found myself reading all about the glycemic index, the role of B vitamins, the effects of omega- 3 on jaw development, formulas for calculating basal metabolic rate, etc. I picked up copies of books like Strength Training Anatomy, Protein Power, and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding, where I learned how to properly execute a back double biceps pose, and learned what a protein shake in the 1. It was all fascinating to me. My nightly entertainment quickly degenerated into watching meatheads on You. Tube lift heavy objects while grunting loudly. I was so into my videos that one night my girlfriend had to subtly suggest we watch something less testosterone- charged, like The Notebook. We compromised and ended up watching Food, Inc. Looking back, it’s kind of amusing that I became so fascinated with a hobby such as bodybuilding. Although I’ve lifted weights for years, I never thought I’d have anything in common with bodybuilder types. But actually its appeal (at least to me) has a lot in common with gaming and general nerd stuff. Watching your body change is like leveling up, and pre- packed meals are like health potions. Following a consistent diet plan allows me to do things like A/B test foods and their effectiveness. Tracking metrics like meal timing and proportions means I know exactly what day and time I will run out of chicken in my fridge. Bodybuilders are really just body hackers. Okay maybe I’m stretching it a bit. But this is how I justify my quick downward spiral into meathead land. What to Eat. One thing I noticed right off when doing my research is that all bodybuilders eat the same few foods. If you go over to bodybuilding. At first it was a weird concept to go from eating whatever I wanted to eating only 1. But actually in an industry filled with noise and drowning in misinformation, this stroke of clarity was what I needed to get started. Here are the foods that all bodybuilders eat over and over: Protein sources: 9. Tilapia. Egg whites. Whey protein. Salmon (this is both a protein and fat source)Carb sources: Brown rice. Sweet potatoes. Oatmeal. Ezekial bread. Fat sources: Almonds. Avocados. Fish oil. Flaxseed oil. Vegetables: Broccoli. Spinach. Asparagus. Kale. There are a thousand reasons why these few foods are popular among bodybuilders, so I’ll mostly summarize. Protein. Chicken breast and tilapia are going to be your main sources of protein because they are lean, easy to cook, and not too expensive. You could also try turkey, halibut, or other lean fishes (sole fish, catfish, tuna, etc.), but I find that each have their respective disadvantages. Turkey, if not ground, can be very tough. Halibut is far more expensive than tilapia. Sole fish is generally very fishy, and flaky once cooked. Also since you’ll be mass producing this food, you’ll want something that will last at least a week in your fridge. Just from my anecdotal experience, chicken and tilapia pass the seven- day- old taste test better than other types of meat. Whey protein (which is extracted from cow milk) will also be a staple. It’s popular among bodybuilders because it’s quickly absorbed by the body, making it perfect in a post- workout shake when the body is in an optimal state the utilize the protein. I also recommend having it in the morning as a breakfast shake if you’re too lazy to make eggs. Before bed, I recommend casein protein (thicker and slower absorbing, also extracted from cow milk). Egg whites are also a great source of protein. It has the highest bioavailability of any protein source, which means the body can utilize more of it due to its balance of amino acids. As a comparison, beef is only 8. The main disadvantage of egg whites is that it naturally contains a lot of sodium. Since I don’t add salt to my food, I was surprised when I first calculated my sodium intake, which was on the high side due to egg whites. For vegetarians, vegans, or those watching their cholesterol (fish, lean chicken, and whey protein all contain cholesterol!), I recommend Nutiva Organic Hemp Protein or Life’s Basics Plant Protein (the unsweetened version is better). Hemp protein (extracted from ground up hemp seeds) is amazing stuff – it’s a complete protein, it’s high in fiber, and it’s rich in Omega 3- 6- 9 essential fatty acids. At first when I did my research, I was set on finding a highly isolated plant- based protein, something like Manitoba Harvest Hemp Pro 7. But the fiber and essential fats in hemp is part of what makes it so great, so I actually think the isolated versions take away many of its advantages. If you’re not a vegan, I recommend mixing the hemp protein with whey protein for better bioavailability (hemp is “complete” but still low on certain amino acids, like lysine). If you’re a vegan, I recommend just using Life’s Basics Plant Protein (the pea and brown rice protein fill in the gaps in hemp’s amino acid profile). I use hemp protein twice a day – once in the morning mixed in with whey, and again before bed, mixed in with casein. Beef – I do not recommend eating beef or any kind of red meat. I love a 1. 2 oz ribeye just as much as anyone else, but after looking up the nutrition facts I’ve concluded that you should only eat it on rare occasions, if ever. It has far more cholesterol and saturated fat than chicken or fish, and the visible fat is harder to isolate and remove. If you do eat beef, I recommend it be organic and grass- fed, which is leaner, lower in cholesterol, and higher in omega- 3 than corn- fed beef. The same is true for salmon – if you have the budget for it, I recommend buying wild caught salmon, which contains more omega- 3 and less cholesterol than farm- raised salmon. Here’s a pdf of the leanest cuts of beef. Carbs. Controlling your carb intake is the most important factor in whether you gain muscle or lose fat. Usually the only difference between a gaining diet versus a cutting diet is the increased carb consumption. The best carb sources are whole grain, unprocessed, and high in fiber. Refined carb sources like white rice, pasta, and white bread are not optimal because they have a higher glycemic index (GI) and lower fiber content . Dianabol - Steroid. Abuse . com. Dianabol is one of the most popular anabolic steroids of all time and has been since it was first created thanks do Dr. John Ziegler and made ready for use through distribution by Ciba Pharmaceuticals in the 1. The very first oral anabolic steroid synthesized, Dianabol was created as a means to aid the U. S. Olympic Team athletes who had been dominated by the Soviet Union athletes due to their use of the powerful testosterone hormone. What would come is one of the most powerful and effective anabolic steroids ever created to date and with its power it has since its inception remained high in demand. A favorite among competitive bodybuilders for its ability to add raw strength and size, Dianabol since its creation has found its way into the cycles of athletes and gym rats for a multitude of purposes. Dianabol 1. 01. Dianabol or Dbol as it is also known is the common trade name for the anabolic steroidal hormone Methandrostenolone. Methandrostenolone carries with it highly anabolic traits as well as moderate androgenic traits which allow it to be well- suited for both strength and size. By its mode of action, due to the effects produced via the androgen receptors Dianabol dramatically increases both protein synthesis and glycogenolysis very rapidly, more so than most anabolic steroidal hormones. While Methandrostenolone can be found in an injectable form, Dianabol is an oral steroid and most will only find and use Methandrostenolone in an oral tablet form. As Dianabol is an oral steroid, like most oral steroids it is a 1. Alpha- Alkylated steroid. The 1. 7- aa alteration simply means the Methandrostenolone hormone has been structurally altered at the 1. Dianabol would be destroyed before it ever entered the blood stream. This structural change allows the hormone to become active in the body to the greatest extent possible; however, there is a downside. Most 1. 7- aa steroids are toxic to the liver, some more so than others and Dianabol makes no exception. In the case of Dianabol while we do have a very powerful anabolic steroid it will prove to fall into the category of one that is more toxic than many others but not the most toxic of all by any means. While this is a downside, through responsible use serious liver damage can be easily avoided and liver enzymes will generally return to normal once use has been discontinued. The Benefits of Dianabol. Dianabol was developed for the use in athletics which gives it somewhat of a special purpose as many steroids were first developed for medical purposes outside athletic circles. Being as this steroids intentions were designed for an athlete, particularly regarding strength and performance its benefits will translate perfectly to meet this end. The most pronounced benefit of Dianabol is in its ability to increase fat free mass and it is for this reason it has been a staple in competitive bodybuilding for decades. By increasing both protein synthesis and glycogenolysis as we discussed; while most anabolic steroids increase protein synthesis the rate in- which Dianabol increases glycogenolysis is quite powerful; in simplistic terms this means your carbohydrate intake becomes more valuable and this is why so many choose to use this steroid when in a bulking or gaining phase. This raw energy in- which it provides will also translate into increasing strength but we must not neglect to understand Dianabol dramatically increases nitrogen retention as well, which in effect again will promote both size and strength. While many anabolic steroidal hormones also carry this nitrogen effect Dianabol will cause the individual to hold more nitrogen in his muscle tissue than most other anabolic steroids. Those who use Dianabol will find increases of 2. However, as is with most steroids Dianabol can serve a multitude of purposes, although its primary purpose will be while bulking. Many competitive bodybuilders use Dianabol during their contest prep cycle; this practice is largely done in order to maintain strength so that one may push through training while on a calorie restricted diet. Further, because of the attributes associated with this steroid the athlete will enable his body to preserve more lean tissue while on a calorie restricted diet. The Side- Effects of Dianabol. While Dianabol can be toxic to liver, as we discussed the effects are largely reversible assuming responsible use is applied. However, while a toxic effect remains a concern the most prominent negative side- effect will in- fact be that of increased blood pressure. Those who suffer from existing high blood pressure are highly cautioned against using this steroid until the problem is under control. While issues of increased blood pressure are the most common of all negative side- effects associated with this steroid many will find that even high doses of the steroid affect their blood pressure very little to not at all; it is impossible to predict where you will fall. Beyond blood pressure aromatase is something one will need to keep an eye on as estrogenic related side- effects such as Gynecomastia can occur. For this reason responsible use will normally include an aromatase inhibitor such as Arimidex or Letrozole. Last but certainly not least, Dianabol will suppress your natural testosterone production and most will find in order to use this steroid exogenous testosterone must be applied if we are to keep adequate levels of testosterone in the body. However, as most will greatly benefit from using both anabolic steroids Dianabol and Testosterone together in a stack for most this will be of little concern. Dianabol & Anadrol Dianabol and Anadrol are often mentioned together in an anabolic steroid discussion and as both are powerful orals apt towards strength and size it’s easy to understand why. In many circles Anadrol is often viewed as the more powerful choice but this is simply not true. Milligram for milligram Dianabol is much stronger than Anadrol but the misconception exists for one reason; most will take in far more Anadrol than Dianabol; common Anadrol cycles are upwards of 1. Dianabol cycles are as little as 3. Make no mistake, both steroids will get the job done and some will find they tolerate one over the other but this doesn’t change the truth, as Dianabol is the most potent mass building oral steroid on the market. Dianabol Cycles & Doses. As Dianabol is most apt for strength and size it is in a bulking cycle where it will be primarily used; it can be used in a cutting cycle as we discussed above but it is in bulking we will focus on as this is the primary purpose. Dianabol is a very fast acting steroid with a very short half- life to indicate as much. Dianabol carries a half- life of approximately 5 hours, making it one of the fastest acting and short duration oral anabolic steroids anyone will ever use. Due to its almost instant effect most will find using this steroid at the beginning of a cycle to be highly effective as a means to kick start the cycle. While kick starting is common place Dianabol can be used later in a bulking cycle in order to break through a plateau when gains begin to halt; many competitive bodybuilders will run Dianabol in two phases during one cycle, as a kick start and as a plateau buster. As for dosing, there is nothing set in stone but 2. Dianabol user will ever want to undertake. While 1. 00mg can be used safely most will find 5. Dianabol to be all they ever really need; assuming their product is real as there is a massive amount of low dosed Dianabol on the black market. For the beginner a dose of 3. As with all anabolic steroids it is important to keep the dosing very low in the beginning in order to determine how you will react and how well you tolerate the particular compound. Granted, for many a low dose may be all you ever need and in the case of Dianabol, as it is very powerful, low dosing may be perfect for you. Meatless Monday The Global Movement. On Thursday, the Department of State issued a notice to the Federal Register, soliciting public comments on a new procedure for vetting immigrants and asylum- seekers applying for US visas. If approved, applicants will be asked for their past five years of social media handles and could be denied entry if they refuse. The new rule, which is still under review but is slated to take effect May 1. The effort to use social media to vet immigrants and refugees is part of the “extreme vetting” overhaul Trump has promised his base in order to block terrorists trying to slip through customs. The Department of Homeland Security began collecting similar information in February. The information the State Department wants to collect via the new vetting procedure covers. The notice states that officials can ask applicants for Instagram, Facebook or Twitter handles, but not their passwords or otherwise access their social media accounts directly. Not that they’d have to: Any publicly available info is already up for grabs and the State Department can request additional information from sites themselves. Sites like Facebook and Twitter comply with about 8. Not supplying handles “will not necessarily result in visa denial,” but applicants must provide a “credible explanation” for not revealing the info or risk having their visa denied. Further, while the State Department is forbidden from denying visas based on race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation, it’s worth noting that Facebook stores all that information on all of its users, including their religion, even algorithmically determining possible terror ties—usually without users even realizing it. With all these tools at play, it’s not hard to imagine a scenario where a refugee is denied entry because Facebook has algorithmically determined they have potential ties to terrorists. Social media reveals much more than just a person’s friends list and travel history. It’s unlikely the State Department will use such intensive tools on every applicant, but it’s important to note how this new measure could combine with extant technology. Many have noted the potential of face recognition and biometric tracking for screening visa applicants. Combined with the relevant internet handles, those systems could allow for mixed databases of biometric and social data—and a new era of data collection and surveillance. Need help in the kitchen?
